Secondo album in studio dei Tears for Fears, pubblicato il 17 febbraio 1985, Songs From The Big Chair è stato il loro maggior successo commerciale, vendendo oltre 5 milioni di copie soltanto negli USA.

 

Contiene brani ormai iconici, che hanno rappresentato la svolta artistica del duo britannico. La grande hit Change, pubblicata solo due anni prima nell’album d’esordio The Hurting, aveva ceduto il posto a brani più complessi e maturi, fra cui Shout, Mothers Talk, Everybody Wants To Rule The World e Head Over Heels.
