Jóhann Jóhannsson: Piano Works | Doppio Vinile

Alice Sara Ott presenta una raccolta di registrazioni in anteprima mondiale di brani di Jóhann Jóhannsson. Registrato in Islanda (patria del compositore scomparso) nello studio del producer Bergur Þórisson, l'album contiene 30 brani tratti da un'edizione di trascrizioni per pianoforte solo delle sue opere recentemente pubblicata da Faber Music che abbracciano l'intera carriera del compositore, dagli album in studio come Englabörn e Orphée alle colonne sonore pionieristiche che ha scritto per documentari o lungometraggi come Copenhagen Dreams, Personal Effects e The Theory of Everything, vincitore del Golden Globe.

Il lavoro visionario di Jóhann Jóhannsson, figura di grande influenza nella musica contemporanea e pluripremiato compositore di colonne sonore, continua ad affascinare gli ascoltatori e ispirare i musicisti anche dopo la sua prematura scomparsa nel 2018.
